As we move into this Pisces full moon lunar eclipse, positioned powerfully on the north node—our soul’s direction, the hunger that drives us—I find myself drawn to contemplate the profound mechanics of this celestial moment. What creates a full moon? The light of the sun. And at an eclipse? That light is blocked, creating darkness as the Earth stands between the solar radiance and lunar reflection.
So what does this earthly realm offer us as it stands in the way of the sun’s light? What invitation lies hidden in this temporary shadow?

The Earth’s Question
This eclipse asks us to examine how we’ve been using our earth energy. How have we been treating the earth—both the planet beneath our feet and the sacred vessel of our own body? As new technologies emerge, expanding our capacities for mind, heart, and physical wellness, we’re called to integrate these advances while remaining rooted in earthly wisdom.
Technologies for the mind that open and expand our consciousness. Technologies for the heart that help us feel and connect more deeply, forgive more readily, approach life with greater honesty, sincerity, and attentiveness. Technologies for the body that reconnect us to wellness through our relationship with the earth—recognizing our bodies as bodies of the Earth.

The Gift of Darkness
Even though the sun’s light will be blocked during this eclipse, Pisces takes us into the deep feeling realm where we can merge with what has been. At this culmination point of the full moon, we’re invited to see what needs to be released from our process.
Eclipses carry history. We can trace back 9 years, then 18 years, and beyond to other Pisces-Virgo eclipse seasons, finding patterns within patterns of relational intelligence—with ourselves, our feelings, the spiritual plane, and the earth.
This isn’t a time for traditional vision quests of creating and manifesting. Instead, we’re called to vision quest into the deepest layers of our psyche and heart, allowing the darkness of this full moon point to reflect back what we need to see. It feels like a gift of light and dark, perfectly balanced.

Integration and Grace
With all these new technologies of air and fire slowly coming online, we humans are learning to integrate their wisdom, their vastness, their speed, while staying earthbound, gracious, and open. This is perhaps the central challenge of our time—how do we evolve rapidly while honoring the slower, deeper intelligence of natural rhythms?

The Personal Eclipse
On a deeply personal level, this eclipse has been guiding me into my own inner shadow—those places where deep fears and anxieties of not being enough have taken residence. My dreams have become allies in this process, taking me to these tender places and allowing the inner vision quest to dissolve the deeper layers of fear and anxiety that have, over years, left their mark on my physical body.
I can sense an awareness of deeper understanding of how I am still carrying grief, into subtler realms of my mind, heart and body. I trust my way into more softness, open for healing.

This is what the eclipse offers—not just cosmic spectacle, but personal transformation. In the temporary darkness, we find the light that was always within us, waiting to be discovered, waiting to be integrated, waiting to heal what needs healing and release what needs releasing.

The shadow, it turns out, isn’t something to fear. It’s something to receive as a gift.
What is this eclipse illuminating in the darkness of your own inner landscape? What patterns from 9 or 18 years ago are ready for completion and release?
