This Friday, the 28th of March, at around 11.48am, we have a New Moon in the sign of Pisces. A watery new moon that will gift us the connection to what may have been developing deep in the watery emotional part of our being for quite some time.

Aspects leading up to this New Moon have taken us into our psyche and shed some light on how we hold the tension between the heart and the mind. The practical and the creative. The expression of self through all that is on offer or only the parts we feel comfortable showing.

How is the psyche responding to life? Are you responding from patterns imprinted upon you from the past or are you finding new ways to express?

We have just come out of a retrograde period for Mars in the sign of Cancer. The story of this retrograde started back in October and will continue until April 18th. The juxtaposition between Mars in Leo, a fire sign where Mars has comfort and dignity, to Cancer, a water sign, where Mars has way less dignity. A place where action comes second to feeling. Not a natural expression for hot headed Mars, but gives us the ability to see and feel what happens when action is thwarted, even if uncomfortable.

Mars in Leo – creative and inspired action, being seen and shining brightly in what we do, new ways of presenting ourselves.

Mars in Cancer – held back due to the watery nature of Cancer. How do our actions impact our emotions and the emotions of others? How do we want to be seen? Are we acting in integrity according to our values and desires?

This New Moon in Pisces is connected to this cycle that Mars has been in, because of the the watery connection that Cancer and Pisces have, there will be a whole house trine. Trines are generally beneficial and easier aspects to traverse. Pisces takes us deeper into the realm of feeling, and the areas we may want to escape. If we can stay present in this watery trine we will have a deeper understanding of what we have seen and felt, retrieved, revisited and revamped about ourselves during this Mars retrograde.

Jupiter is involved and will support us to bring all of the pieces together. Jupiter is in Gemini, supporting a more detailed examination of the psyche. Jupiter is in a square with this New Moon, bringing in the tension between the psyche and the heart.

What do you need for security and steadiness to be able to stay in this emotional story of you?

From there how can you express your unique gifts to the world?

Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac, therefore a theme or pattern from the past may be wrapping up so you can move forward with fresh new intent.

This is generalised and can be personalised through your chart.

This New Moon is like a doorway into eclipse season. The Full Moon of this cycle, in Virgo, is the first eclipse for this year. This means that setting clear intentions and using the energy of all of this water, has the power to usher in the changes you would like to make through the very practical sign of Virgo.

Give your self time at this New Moon to vision quest. Close your eyes and breathe, visualise and feel, free write from the feelings, and allow that to guide your intentions. When we find the courage to work with the energy available to us, we can learn a whole lot more about ourselves. See and feel yourself where you would like to be. Pisces is not necessarily action oriented, it is the gateway to oneness through the heart and interconnectedness.

Your intentions don’t have to be grand in nature, make room for the quiet aspects of you, the subtle parts that don’t get heard often. It could be a seemingly simple breakthrough in day to day life that supports a whole new way forward for you. Like making those changes to your Self care routines that you’ve been wanting to do. Or speaking up within a friendship or relationship about needs that aren’t being met. Most of the time we need to meet our own needs first, then we can ask the external world to meet them as well, because we have more clarity in how to communicate it.

If you meet some aspects of you that feel overwhelming, love them more, take time, dare to surrender and acknowledge them. The parts that can’t be seen, that can only be felt. A surrender into the unknown is always the key ingredient into a shift to a fuller, truer expression of you!

What has stopped you in the past, to step into this expression of you?

Can you lovingly move through this and ask for support if needed?

Are you willing to let go a little or a lot?

Can you allow space for co-creation?

How do your emotions and your psyche get along?

May you dive into the waters of you with courage and determination
May you find ways to express how you feel
May you feel heard and safe in your expression
May this propel you forward into new territory

Much love, Suse xx
